If you want to speed up the initial intake process, you can provide more detailed information. The detailed information doesn’t mean I’ll definitely take your case, but it will help provide me with enough information to make a decision.

What kind of information do you need to provide?

The intake process will ask you about your service, deployments, what time of claim you are looking to file, and if you have it available, your previous decisions from VA.

How long will it be before you get a response

I maintain a very small client base — that way I can pay detailed attention to your case. Instead of churning thousands of claims and trying to earn a billion dollars like the claim sharks, I work with a few clients, read every single page in every document from their VA files and service records, then work to win the largest increase and back pay award the law allows. In others words, it will take some time. After filling out the claim form you’ll hear something from me within a couple of weeks.

Once I take a client and review the file for any urgent deadlines, it will be 12 to 16 weeks before I begin work on your claim. If I take you as a client and your deadline is in 3 weeks, we’ll quickly review what we can to kick the can down the road and keep your claim alive while the file review is pending.
